Guided tours in English and Happy Hour at Reykjavík Art Museum
Reykjavík Art Museum offers guided tours in English every week at Hafnarhús (Thursdays at 6 p.m.) and Kjarvalsstaðir (Fridays at 1 p.m.) from June to August. Happy Hour is on Thursdays from 6- 8 p.m. at Kaffi Lyst in Hafnarhús. The summer exhibitions at Reykjavík Art Museum (Hafnarhús, Kjarvalsstaðir and Ásmundarsafn) show 120 years of Icelandic art. Two exhibitions are at Hafnarhús, Your Compound View and the exhibition Erró: The World Today. There are three exhibitions at Kjarvalsstaðir, Reykjavík, Town, Structure, the exhibition Affinities and the exhibition Seasons in Kjarval´s Art. A Selection from the Ásmundur Sveinsson Collection is on view at Ásmundarsafn.
