Guðmundarlundur

Guðmundarlundur is a forest area around 6.5 hectares. The are area is named after founder Guðmundur H. Jónsson and CEO of the construction company BYKO.

Guðmundur and his family started forestry there in 1967. The field was delivered to the Forestry Association of Kopavogur in 1997. 

At this beautiful area you will find four barbecue grills, two of which are with tables and benches, one grill is by the house (the old dwelling, go to the left when you enter the gate), and the fourth barbecue is on a new flat that goes directly onto the plane,to the left of the big gates.
