Creative workshop for families with the illustrator and the children‘s book author Rán Flygenring will be held during the Winter Break. The workshop is in connection with her new book, Tjörnin (e. The pond) . Tjörnin is a profound and magical story about curiosity and adventure, control and lack of control, but not least about our relationship with our own species and all the other species with whom we share the local environment. In the workshop, participants get to know the magical world of the pond's ecosystem and the opportunity to create their own organisms and ecosystems. No registration is needed in the workshop. Rán Flygenring is an award-winning author and illustrator. She has received the Reykjavík City Children's Book Award many times, and in 2023 she received the Nordic Council Prize for the book Eldgos.
