The choir is known for its joyful performances and smart dress. It presents a varied a cappella Christmas programme – Icelandic and international songs, both traditional and upbeat/pop in four- to eight-part arrangements. Raddbandafélag Reykjavíkur was founded in 2003 and is an ambitious 14-member men’s choir made up of both trained singers and experienced amateur vocalists.
