You are warmly invited to the launch of Á milli mála: fiður, fingur, fálmarar, a bookwork by Agnes Ársæls and Anna Andrea Winther, taking place 7th of February at Skálda from 14:30–16:00.
The publication is based on research and findings from an exhibition that took place by Reykjavík Pond during the Reykjavík Arts Festival 2024. In the book, the artists present the outcomes of the exhibition, trace the process, and reflect on the exhibition period, which was eventful.
There will be a reading of chosen texts during the event. In addition to texts by Agnes and Anna, the publication includes contributions by Hlynur Steinsson, ecologist, and Eva Lín Vilhjálmsdóttir, arttheorist and writer. Agnar Freyr Stefánsson designed and typeset the book.
Light refreshments will be served, suitable for both birds and people. At the end of the event, participants will walk down to the Pond to feed the birds.
The event is part of Winter Lights Festival 2026 and is supported by Reykjavík City.
