Seven rounds will be played with a thinking time of four minutes plus 2 seconds additional time after each game (4+2). Prizes will be awarded for the top three places, ISK 15,000, 10,000, and 5,000. The tournament will count towards international rapid chess rankings.
The tournament is open to everyone, and the participant’s fee is the admission fee for the museum. Children, disabled people, and holders of the Reykjavík Culture Pass and the City card get free access.
