Art at Alþingi

The public is invited to view the artwork in the Parliament House on Culture Night between 13:00 and 16:00. The building houses magnificent works by renowned Icelandic artists such as Jóhannes Kjarval, Nína Tryggvadóttir and Gunnlaugur Scheving. Art historians will be on-site to guide visitors and share the history behind the pieces.

Entry is every 20 minutes (maximum 35 people per group), and each guided tour lasts approximately 45 minutes. Entrance is through Skáli, next to the Parliament House. Admission is free, and no pre-registration is required.
