You can get your Reykjavík City Card at this location; the best and most economical way of exploring the city's myriad of museums, shops and thermal pools.
Our information centre is open every day, Monday-Sunday 08:00-20:00, all year round.
Reykjavík Official Tourist Information Centre is located in Reykjavik City Hall next to the beautiful city pond. Entrance from Tjarnargata, Vonarstræti and the bridge (Iðnó square).

Reykjavik City Card
Your cost-effective way of getting to know the city. The card gives you a 24, 48 or 72 hours unlimited travel on the city buses, admission to major attractions and discounts at shops and restaurants.
The facilities at the Reykjavík Official Tourist Information Centre are accessible for wheelchairs with a special parking spots for disabled in front of the City Hall. We also offer hearing loops at the desk to assist people with a hearing loss.

The Reykjavik Tourist Information Centre has been awarded with Vakinn – The official quality and eco label for Icelandic tourism. In order to reach our goals concerning environmental standards, we work according to Reykjavík Green Eco Steps which aims to lower the environmental impact of the city´s institutions. In addition we prioritize green values in our tourism strategy – A city for all seasons.
We encourage you to travel around Reykjavík in a eco-friendly way by electric car, bus, bike or by walking. Bus nr. 1,3,6,11,12,13 and 14 stops in front of Reykjavík City Hall. Outside are facilities to store your bike in a safe way and the multi storey car park is equipt with a charging point.
