Water and Science
The Icelandic Museum of Natural History and the University of Iceland Science Centre are partnering to host an exciting family event focused on water and science, held at the museum’s exhibition Water in Icelandic Nature at Perlan. Visitors will be encouraged to participate in a variety of fun, hands-on water-related experiments.

Glímudýrin are ready for battle!
Glímudýrin is a new Icelandic collectible card game based on a rock–paper–scissors game system. You compete using cards and dice. It is possible to collect over 300 different cards, including common, rare, and very rare holographic cards. Winter break | Scavenger hunt
During the winter break, a scavenger hunt will be running all day at the library, Children can stop by, pick up a sheet and follow clues around the building. By solving the puzzles, they collect clues that come together to form a word at the end. The scavenger hunt is self-guided and can be completed at any time during the day. Stop by and play a spy!

A guided tour of Einar Jónsson’s works in words and sound. Þóra Sigurbjörnsdóttir and Silja Pálmarsdóttir, specialists at the Einar Jónsson Museum, will guide visitors through selected works in the exhibition Spirit and Materiality. Joining them is flutist Hildur Arna Hrafnsdóttir, who will perform music inspired by the artworks. The tour will be in Icelandic.
