New exhibition at Reykjavík Museum of Photography opening 20th September 2020
In the exhibition Distance and Intimacy. Contemporary Icelandic Photography, we hear the voices of some of those who have made their mark on contemporary Icelandic photography over the past two decades.

Reykjavík: The Greenest City in the World
Last week the online travel service Travel Bird released the Green Cities Index of 2018. On top of the list, Iceland's capital can be found, with 411 square meters of green space per person.

New display and street festival
On May 7, Reykjavík City Museum will open a new exhibition in Aðalstræti 10. A fun street theatre and festival will be held on this occasion, starting at 13:00 – 16:00.
