Want to take a peek inside an Icelandic home?

Just opened in the Reykjavík Museum of Photography is the exhibition "Home" by artist Hanna Siv Bjarnardóttir. Dedicated to the "classic" Icelandic home, the photographs give an interesting insight into the country's way of living.

Hanna visited a number of senior citizens living in Stokkseyri, a small town in the south of Iceland. In a short window of time, she learned many things about the people living there, with their homes reflecting their owner's personalities and the stories of their lives, as well as Icelandic culture.

The exhibition is open until May 29th.
