The Reykjavík City Museum offers a guided tour in Polish on Aðalstræti, Sunday, 28 September at 14:00-15:00. Marta Wieczorek, assistant principal of the Polish School in Reykjavík will lead the tour. At Aðalstræti 10 and 16 there is an exhibition about how Reykjavík has changed since the settlement to the present day. The tour starts at Aðalstræti 16 where there is a ruin of a house from the 10th century and an exhibition about the life of Reykjavík's first inhabitants. The tour continues in the oldest house in the center of Reykjavík, Aðalstræti 10. There, is an exhibition about the development of Reykjavík to the present day. The tour is free of charge and all Polish speakers are welcome. Accessibility is good on Aðalstræti. Please note, however, that there is little lighting inside the exhibition hall by the ruin and the floor is uneven. Assistance dogs are welcome in the museum. Buses: The nearest stops are MR and Ráðhúsið (2-5 min. walk).
