This is a diverse and creative course where students learn to draw, paint, and sculpt. They are introduced to the basic elements of visual art—such as line, colour, texture, and shadow—through exciting projects that encourage personal exploration and experimentation. Students will work on both two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces. One of the highlights of the course is creating a clay portrait, giving students insight into the form and proportions of the human body. The goal of the course is to foster creativity and confidence in artistic creation, and to promote joy and a positive experience of visual art. The course lasts 12 weeks.
