In this course, students will train in wheel throwing and clay shaping. They will create functional items on the pottery wheel as well as explore abstract experiments. The aim is to develop visual awareness, stimulate creative thinking and personal expression, and refine general working methods and a sense of form and material. The course also seeks to spark interest in image-making and form-thinking in a broader context, including through art history. The course lasts 12 weeks, on Fridays, September 5 – November 28, from 15:15–17:40.
