Iceland vs France in the Heart of Reykjavík

The next historical football game, Iceland vs France will be shown at Arnarhóll on Sunday. The game starts at 7 pm, the programme will start about one hour before.

Over fifteen thousand people attended the EURO 2016 Fanzone at Arnarhóll in downtown Reykjavík last Monday and saw the game Iceland vs England.

The next historical football game, Iceland vs France will also be shown at Arnarhóll on Sunday. The game starts at 7 pm, the programme will start about one hour before. This is a unique occasion in Icelandic sporting history, which will be showcased in the heart of Reykjavík; so be sure to come early if you want to get a good spot at the Fanzone.

The game will be shown in two outdoor places in the capital area;Thorsplan in Hafnarfjörður and Rútstún in Kópavogur.

The interest in football has gone to its heights during the EURO 2016 due to the participation of the Icelandic men’s football team and their great success. We expect that about 99% of Icelanders will watch the game next Sunday. The atmosphere in Iceland will be phenomenal and the (blood) pressure will be mounting for most Icelanders.

The Fanzone at Arnarhóll is brought to you by The City of Reykjavík in collaboration with the Icelandic Football Association, Síminn, Landsbankinn, Icelandair, N1, Coca-Cola, Borgun and Íslenskar Getraunir.

Go Iceland-Áfram Ísland!
