Harpa Hjartardóttir in SUMMER WITHOUT RESTRICTION is making a short documentary about the Icelandic summer and she will be filming the festival in the city.

Behind the project Summer Without Restriction is Harpa Hjartardóttir. Harpa graduated with a bachelor´s degree in film studies from The University of Iceland in 2021 and recently got a diploma in filmmaking from Prague Film School. Summer Without Restrictions is a documentary short about the summer in Reykjavík. This is a very special time now that all restrictions are lifted in Iceland and the summer will surely be full of young people enjoying their freedom. The aim of the film is to capture these unique moments in the lives of Icelanders. It will be examined whether this summer will be different from the summers before covid or whether people will return to old habits as if nothing had happened.
