The musical group Klassík will introduce classical music to all age groups in order to to emphasize the significance of musical study for all social groups.

This summer Kjarvalsstadir will host the Icelandic musical group Klassík. Klassík consists of three young Icelandic violinist, Helga Diljá Jörundsdóttir, Margrét Lára Jónsdóttir and Tómas Vigur Magnússon. In recent years members of Klassík have performed in various solo concerts and participated in several chamber orchestras, playing various pieces written by the most famous classical composers. The main objective of Klassík at Kjarvalsstaðir is to introduce classical music to all age groups and to emphasize the significance of musical study for all social groups. Klassík at Kjarvalsstaðir will organize several exciting and free of charge concerts at Kjarvalsstaðir this summer.
