Do you want to create a funny and exciting story?
Short, creative course for 9-12 year old kids who want to write stories and / or draw.

Please note that the workshop is fully booked. To register to waiting list, please send an email to ingibjorg.osp.ottarsdottir@reykjavik.is

During the course, the kids learn how to create fun characters and how to write or draw a story that is both funny and exciting.

Participants attend twice; Saturday Saturday 25 September and Saturday 9 October and work on their story in between.

Eva Rún and Blær are the authors of the books about Santa Claus Stúfur; Stúfur stops being Santa Claus and Stúfur solves a mystery. Now they are working on a new book about Stúfue and the participants will get a glimpse into the creative process and get a change to take part in it!

At the end of the course, we encourage the kids to submit their story in the short story competition Sögur. Menntamálastofun publishes an e-book with the best short stories of the competition and the authors receive recognition and the two best stories a prize at the Sagna Prize Festival next spring that will be broadcasted live on RÚV.
