This upcoming weekend is the last for the photo exhibition: Binni. "Photographs from Ólafsfjörður 1930-1980"
For this occasion there will be a guided tour through the exhibition on Sunday, March 8th at 14.00 (2pm), in the Reykjavík Maritime Museum, Grandagarður 8.
The exhibition shows hundreds of photographs of events and people in Ólafsfjörður which is in North of Iceland, plus a few short movies from the fifties and the sixties.
Brynjólfur Sveinsson (1914-1981), called Binni, was an amateur photographer, merchant and post office station manager in Ólafsfjörður.
Ragnheiður and Helga Pálína, Binni's daughters will provide a guided tour through the exhibition on Sunday at 14.00 (2pm).
The Maritime Mueseum and it's coffee house are open every day from 10-17. Coffee buffet this Sunday
