On Museum Night, February 3rd at 6 p.m., Sunna Gunnlaugs Trio will perform at the first Afternoon Concert of the year 2023 at Hafnarborg. Alongside pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs, the trio is made up of contrabassist Þorgrímur Jónsson and drummer Scott McLemore, but together they will play select tunes from their previous albums, as well as new material. In recent years, the trio has performed both in Iceland and abroad, being well received for the way they combine the European lyrical tradition with the sounds of American jazz.

The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.

The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfjörður, the Rannís Music Fund and the FÍH Culture Fund.
