This is the seventh time that Tjarnarsalur in City Hall is transformed into a Christmas forest and this time the design and implementation of the project is in the hands of Flétta Design / // Haugfé.
More than 3500 students in 28 primary schools in Reykjavik created the snowflakes that will decorate the forest in the City Hall Hall during the holidays. The snowflakes, which are made from pages from books from publishers (which were sent for recycling for defects), are as diverse as the students are many.
The Christmas forest is open every day until 18:00. On December 15, a Christmas card center will be open where all the cards will be made with recyclable material. Everyone welcome!
