AS WE GROW is an Icelandic design company, which executes “slow fashion”. No mass production is used and only eco-friendly raw materials are chosen in the production of each garment. The pieces are simple yet luxurious and designed to grow with the child.

Ásgarðslaug pool

Ásgarðslaug is an outdoor swimming pool with hot tubs and a childrens pool. A small water slider is in the childrens pool. The pool was recently renovated with new outdoor showers and hot tubs. There is also now a cold tub. There is also an elevator for people using wheelchairs to get into the pool.

Vesturbæjarlaug pool

At Vesturbæjarlaug pool you will find a 25m outdoor pool, kiddie pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam bath, cold tub and outdoor dressing rooms. At the front desk, there is swimwear for sale, refreshments for sale and free wifi.

This pool is very popular with Icelanders, so it's a great place to go and relax and chat with the locals!

The Einar Jónsson Sculpture Museum

The Einar Jónsson Sculpture Museum opened on 24 June 1923, making it Iceland’s first public art museum on its own premises. Einar Jónsson (1874-1954) was the first Icelandic sculptor to make a career in his art. He was a pioneer of Icelandic sculpture, who had a major influence upon Icelandic art. The museum’s collection comprises of over 350 works of art from Einar’s 60-year career as an artist, along with many objects relating to the life and work of the artist and his wife Anna Marie Mathilde Jørgensen (1885-1975).

12 Tónar

12 Tónar, established in 1998, is a legendary record store and a label in the heart of Reykjavík. In 2019 we added a bar and a café which is very popular with the locals. We regularly host concerts and events in the store or in our beautiful backyard, where the sun always shines.

Laugardalslaug pool

At Laugardalslaug you'll find a 50m outdoor pool, water slides, sea tub, steam bath, hot tubs, kiddie slide, kiddie pool, wading pool, massage tub, indoor pool, cool tub, infant facilities, private dressing rooms and outdoor dressing rooms. There is accessibility for the disabled in the pool. The water in the pool has chlorine made from salt. In the neighbourhood are running routes, a minigolf course, a wipeout obstacle course and beach volleyball. At the front desk is a cafeteria, swimwear for sale and free wifi.
