The Iceland Airwaves festival starts tomorrow, Wednesday 2 November 2016 and is being held for the 18th time! This biggest celebration of music in Iceland boasts an unrivaled line-up of established and up-and-coming artists.

The festival spans five days (Wednesday - Sunday) and its main focus is showcasing new music, both Icelandic and international. There will be many artists on the venue, to name a few:  Björk,  Pj Harvey, Warpaint, Of Monsters of Men, Santigold, Dizze Rascal.

Iceland Airwaves has become known for its intimacy and party spirit and Airwaves-goers can expect to soak up the festival atmosphere in some of the city’s most unique venues, such as Harpa, Reykjavík Art Museum, The Old Cinema (Gamla bíó) a church and NASA.
It’s not just about the music; there will be plenty of opportunities to indulge in yummy Icelandic cuisine, sample the local beer, make new friends, relax in the hot pools and marvel at the aurora borealis. There’s a reason music lovers flock to Reykjavík for 5 days of festival magic.
