The Reykjavík Welcome Card’s Success

Sales of the Reykjavík Welcome Card increased by 30% between the years 2009 and 2008.

Recent product developments have clearly had an impact, with more attractions and discounts included in the card, a new look and increased advertising and promotion.

Available for 24, 48 or 72 hours and offering great value for money, the improved card offers discounts at restaurants, shops and off tours, in addition to free admission to all of Reykjavík’s thermal pools, bus transport in the Reykjavík Capital Area, many museums and attractions and free internet access at the Centre.
