45 Games at the UEFA Fanzone-Reykjavík Loves Football

The atmosphere yesterday was just phenomenal during the football game Iceland- Portugal at the UEFA Fanzone on Ingólfstorg. There was a big crowd of people watching the Icelandic national men's football team in their first game at the 2016 Euro Cup in France scoring 1-1 against Portugal.
The atmosphere yesterday was just phenomenal during the football game Iceland- Portugal at the UEFA Fanzone on Ingólfstorg. There was a big crowd of people watching the Icelandic national men's football team in their first game at the 2016 Euro Cup in France scoring 1-1 against Portugal. 

45 matches will be shown at the Fanzone along with family-friendly entertainment during the  championship. This is a unique occasion in Icelandic sporting history, which will be showcased in the heart of Reykjavík. 
Tomorrow on the 16 June there will be three games at the Fanzone:
1 pm England – Wales
4 pm Ukrainian – North Ireland
7 pm Germany  – Poland

The timing of the European Championship game Poland vs. Germany could not have been better because the day following the game, 17 June marks the 25 anniversary of signing the Polish-German Treaty on Good Neighbourship and Friendly Cooperation.  There will be a programme at the Fanzone from 6 pm in connection with the game and the 25th anniversary.
